Ordering

What forms of payment does Stay In Bed accept?

Stay In Bed accepts Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard and American Express, as well as payment by cheque or bank transfer.

When will my card be debited?

Full payment is taken immediately for orders placed online. If you place an order over the phone we can take a minimum deposit of 30% and the balance is to be cleared before delivery.

Will my credit card details be safe with Stay In Bed?

Any information you provide to Stay In Bed, including credit card information, is encrypted on our secure server (or that of our payment handler SagePay) using SSL. The encryption process converts the information you enter into bits of code that are then securely transmitted over the Internet. Therefore, you can be assured that shopping online with Stay In Bed is a hassle-free experience and one that is completely secure and protected against fraud or similar concerns.

How do I know that my order has been received?

Once your order is submitted our website will display a confirmation message to acknowledge your order.  You should also receive an automated email confirmation which includes details of all the items you have ordered.

How do I know the leadtime for my order?

We endeavour to give up-to-date production leadtime information on the product specific pages of our website.  Please Contact Us if you have any difficulty finding the stock information you require.

Do you charge VAT?

All prices shown on our website include VAT at the prevailing rate.

Can I pay for my order when I receive it?

No, all products must be paid for prior to despatch.

Delivery

How much will delivery cost?

We offer free delivery to most mainland UK postcodes.

The following UK postcodes below will incur a delivery charge of £150.

Wales: CF, NP, LD, SA, LL, SY13-25

Southwest: PL, TA, EX, TQ, TR

The following UK postcodes below will incur a delivery charge of £250.

We are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland, Scotland, some Scottish borders, Carlisle and Cumbria.

Do you ship overseas?

No, currently we only ship to mainland England and Wales.

How long will delivery take?

As our products are made to order, delivery will be undertaken once an order has been manufactured and delivered to our warehouse.  When your order is ready for delivery, either a member of our inhouse delivery team or our delivery partners will get in touch to arrange delivery. 

We endeavour to deliver within 7-10 working days. 

For Wales usually within 7-14 days.

EX, TA, TQ, PL, TR usually within 7-14 days.  

We will always contact you to arrange a delivery date.  Where delivery is not possible within these estimated timescales we will advise you as soon as possible to let you know.

If you have specific delivery requirements please contact our office to discuss before you place your order.  Delivery will usually take place on a weekday, and whilst we do our best to accommodate specific delivery requests, we cannot guarantee delivery will reach you on a requested date.  

Do you deliver on weekends?

It may be possible to arrange delivery on a Saturday, but this is not guaranteed and subject to availability with our delivery partners. A delivery surcharge may apply for Saturday deliveries, our delivery partners will confirm prices and charge directly with you when arranging delivery.

Can delivery be delayed?

Unfortunately we are unable to store items for you, if a delivery date is declined your order may be subject to storage charges of £75 per week. Our delivery partners will advise you at the time and take payment directly
if required.

Can you arrange access checks?

We can arrange an access check if you are unsure a product will fit into your property. If an onsite visit is not available then it can be arranged remotely. Please get in touch with us for further information.

Will my sofa need assembly?

Our sofabeds are delivered in parts for easy access and will be assembled for you in the room of choice as part of our delivery and assembly service.

Can I arrange for my order to be delivered to an address other than my own?

It is usually possible to deliver to an alternative delivery address as long as our security checks are successful. Our security checks can take up to 3 working days to complete. In some instances, as part of our measures to prevent fraudulent orders, we may be obliged to deliver only to the registered card address. Orders paid for by cheque or bank transfer can always be delivered to an address of your choosing.

I have a complaint, who should I contact?

Will my call be recorded?

Stay In Bed record all incoming and outgoing calls, these may be used for training and quality purposes.
